The Langkawi International Research Centre for Tourism and Hospitality (LITH) provides a platform for resource and information exchange between academics, industry practitioners and policy developers. Our team of researchers undertake high quality research that is impactfull and meet the needs of the industry as well as the society. Through our collaborative efforts with both public and private sectors, we seek to expand our research opportunities and grow in stature and relevance. LITH is proud to be a reference point, providing valuable service to the Southeast Asia's research community. We are under the School of Tourism, Hospitality and Environmental Management (STHEM), Universiti Utara Malaysia and our location is the beautiful mystical island of Langkawi.
